HEIC libraries and licenses

COCOKESU uses the unmodified libheif-js 1.23.5 WebAssembly module, based on libheif 1.23.5 and libde265 1.0.15. These third-party libraries are separately loaded and governed by their included licenses. They are not COCOKESU's proprietary application source.

Interface-compatible library replacements and reverse engineering for debugging library modifications are permitted by the applicable licenses. To use a modified library in a local deployment, replace vendor/libheif-1.23.5.mjs while preserving its exported factory and API. The source archive includes build workflows and pinned upstream source versions. No user photos are included in these downloads.
